Blueberry Muffins

1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. mashed blueberries
2 c. whole blueberries
1 Tbsp. sugar mixed with 1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Preheat the oven to 375° F. Grease the muffin cups/pan. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Combine dry ingredients and add with milk to the butter mixture. Stir in the blueberries. Fill the muffin cups 2/3 full and sprinkle tops with sugar. Bake 25 minutes. Cool 30 minutes before removing from pan. Make 1 dozen.
