2 cans of crescent rolls
2 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 1/4 c. sugar, separated as 1 cup and 1/4 cup
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. of butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 350° F. Take 1 can of crescent rolls (do not tear apart) and remove 1 of the sections (there will be 2 in the can) and lay it on the bottom of the 9" x 13" pan, same for the other section. Take the 2 packages of cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and vanilla, and mix together and spread over the rolls. Lay the other can of crescent rolls over the top of the mixture the same way you did the bottom of the rolls. Pour the melted butter on top and take the mixture of 1/4 cup of sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon mixed together and sprinkle on top. Bake for 30 minutes.

  • Family Favorite

  • My family requests this cheese Danish very frequently its become a family favorite. I absolutely love there are no eggs, but besides that very delicious and gets done in no time. I also halved the recipe so it can fit into my 8x8 baking pan. Thanks great recipe A Must Try.

  • Great find

  • I have had this recipe before seeing it here and I add guava paste on top of the cream cheese. You can add other jelly or jam...excellent!

  • Just a side note

  • I love this for a breakfast treat for the holidays! But I'm diabetic, so I substitute Splenda for the sugar...it works perfect!
