WOULD HAVE LIKED BUT IT WAS DAMAGED

This cast iron tea kettle is beautiful and appeared well-made when received. It is, however, totally impracticle. It is too heavy to lift and pour hot water for tea or whatever other uses you may have for hot water. The handle is not sturdy or fixed and it is nearly impossible to lift the kettle with the handle and tilt it to pour water out. (Perhaps I should have thought of this before I ordered it since it is cast iron, but admittedly I did not.) For decorative purposes or use as a standing humidifier, perhaps it would work fine. I wanted a functional tea kettle, though.
