affordable, love the weight of the bird that holds down the napkins- good for outside dining :) added bonus- base of the holder is rattan-like and sort of looks like a bird's nest- very cute :)

This handy device is actually designed as a bird's nest, with a round wicker mat inside a heavy metal frame edged with leaves. The napkins are held in place with a counter weighed bird mounted to the back of the frame, and it would take a tornado to blow anything out of this nest!! As with the matching Bird Papertowel Holder, this piece is finished in a verdigris green which looks like aged copper, and the bird has the heft of marble. As the price is right, you can't go wrong.

This is so cute. It matches all my wroght iron leafy decorations. The bird is heavy and keeps the napkins pinned down.
