Ranch Tuna Pasta Salad

Ranch Tuna Pasta Salad

1 can white albacore tuna, drained and flaked
1 pkg. ranch seasoning mix
1 green apple, washed and chopped (leave skin on)
1 pkg. multi-colored rotelli noodles, cooked (according to directions) and cooled
1 c. mayo (may need to add more - especially after it sits in fridge - noodles may absorb some of the moisture)
1 c. cheddar cheese, finely grated

Mix all ingredients together and put in the refrigerator for the flavors to blend. This is a favorite among kids and adults. The green apple gives the salad an unexpected crunch and sweetness.

  • Love it!

  • This is a great summer salad. At first, I thought a whole box of pasta was too much with only a 6oz can of tuna but it's enough. The tuna doesn't overpower the salad and the chopped apple adds to the flavor. I've fixed this without the tuna as well and it still tasted great. Simple and easy to make. One of my favorite pasta salads ever!!
