2 large onions 1/2 stick of butter 7-8 cube steaks 1 pkg. onion soup mix 1 c. of vinegar 1/2 c. water
Slice onions into rings and sauté in butter until soft. Brown cube steaks on both sides. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly. Serve with homemade mashed potatoes or dumplings and enjoy. You get the same great taste without marinating for days.
