Jill's Tasty Taco Soup

1-lb. ground beef
1 16-oz. can corn, do not drain
1 16-oz. can chili beans, do not drain
1 10-oz. can tomatoes, do not drain
1 15-oz. can tomato paste, optional
1 14.5-oz. can green chilies, optional, do not drain
Black olives to taste
2 c. water
1 pkg. taco seasoning
Sour cream to taste
Tortilla chips
Shredded cheddar cheese

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef. Mix together the browned ground beef, corn, chili beans, tomatoes, tomato paste and green chilies (if using), black olives and water to stock pot. Bring to a slow boil over medium heat, stirring occasionally. reduce heat and add taco seasoning. Simmer for ten minutes. Serve warm, topped with sour cream and cheese. Add tortilla chips to side and for dipping. The amounts of the ingredients may be adjusted to suit your individual taste.
