Sausage and Rice Casserole

1 lb. sausage
1 small box of rice
1 16-oz. (1 tub) sour cream
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown the sausage in a skillet. Cook the rice according to directions. Let the rice and the ground sausage cool to room temp. Mix in the sour cream, rice and sausage in a casserole dish. Bake at 325° F for 30-45 minutes; times may vary depending on your oven and or casserole dish.

I hope you and your family loves it as much as mine has! Great to take to parties!

I made this recipe when my daughter was very small; those were the days, my friends.

  • Specific Amounts

  • It would help a whole lot to know how much rice is in a "small box". Is it instant rice, regular white rice or what ? Can't make it it without exact amounts.
