Taffy Apple Pizza


18-oz. pkg. sugar cookie dough
8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 medium Granny Smith apples
1/4 c. caramel topping
1/2 c. peanuts, chopped

Shape cookie dough into a ball and place in the center of a large baking stone. Roll out dough to a 14" circle, about 1/4"thick. Bake at 350° F for 16 to 18 minutes, until light golden brown. Cool and loosen the cookie from the stone. Combine cream cheese, brown sugar, peanut butter and vanilla; mix well. Spread mixture on the cookie. Peel, core and slice the apples. Arrange evenly on top of the cream cheese. Microwave caramel topping about 30 seconds and drizzle it evenly over the apples. Sprinkle peanuts on top, cut into wedges and serve.

  • Very good, makes good amount and is easy, must eat same day or crust gets soggy overnight. Put lemon juice on apples so they don't brown.
