not worth the price

it cooks well, but after you clean it soon shows its faux (brown side) it seems to me that it's not the true cast iron. That it's meant to be, it surely has the weight, but it isn't suppose to turn brown after scrubbing, I know a true cast iron!!! My grandmother still has one in the kitchen and I'm in my early 40s and she cooked 3 meals a day using that cast iron skillet!!! It never turned brown - you could scrubbed 'til your elbows hurt. I don't even cook that much, I should've bought the sterling silver set. I see why it went on sale.

the size of the grill is smaller than illustrated, it states they are pre-seasoned but they require more, after using one time large fry pan started to flake off and i can see the metal. DEFINTELY NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT. DO NOT BUY!!!!! I REALLY GIVE THIS ZERO STARS BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE ZERO!

I am very pleased with the whole set. I bought another set for my daughter. The only problem which is slight, is that the peices are all supposed to be seasoned, but they are not really. Not a big deal...I would rather season them myself anyway.

Have a wall full of cast iron cookware and this set really adds and compliments my collection. This is the first new pre-seasoned set to buy and am pleased. Gives a nice start to the seasoning process of the pan.
