This blender demolishes a banana in seconds; it is like a Bugatti accelerating onto the speedway. So far, for my purposes--blending fruit into my health drinks, smoothing the lumps out of crepe batter--Ginny's Brand 10-speed blender is a great buy. I also wanted a blender with a glass pitcher. I have had plastic, cheap, and slow blenders before. I don't detect much difference between low and high speeds, but I don't care about that. This blends fast and well.

Quality not as expected. Doesn't look like it will hold up, so will be returning it.

Good quality and especially like the fact that a "high" or "low" setting has to be set before it'll run.

Red color is beautiful and has what I call a "safety" feature that makes it necessary to the push "high" or "low" buttons before it can be started. Great idea.

Very CHEAPLY made...loud & clumsy to use. I replaced a very OLD Oster with this cheap thing. My first & last Ginny brand item ever.

I purchased the basil colored blender to match my basil toaster. It adds a bright accent to my small eclectic mini-galley kitchen.

Gave this as a gift, she liked it very much. The red was a perfect color!

I have owned two different infomercial brands of blenders. Neither of them were as good as this blender from Ginny's! It does a great job grinding freeze dried veggies for soups, making powdered milk taste thick and luxurious, and can even make "ice cream" from bananss and milk!

I have never tried frozen fruit, but I have ground rice into flour, dehydrated corn into corn meal, and cream of wheat. I have also used it to mix dry ingredients like powdered eggs flour and milk thoroughly and added water in a separate bowl using grind or pulse. It is probably not rated for actual flour milling, but it will do 1/2 cup or so and mixes shakes and drinks very well. Do not overfill the blender, and stop and stir if you hear any resistance. This has actually performed for me better than the magic bullet blender.

Blender doesn't work well with frozen fruit. I make a shake every morning and I have chunks of fruit at the bottom.
