Not Worth the Price

This bench looks great in the picture, however, the wood is extremely thin and cracked twice while putting the bench together. The drawers don't shut tight because the bench wood is warped. Now I see why others I've seen in stores cost so much more. But Country Door customer service is excellent to work with!

It was not worth the price, I thought it would be made with better heavy duty real wood and it was not, very flimspy, and would not recommend this item.

We ordered it and screws were missing; they are not regular screws so we called and then sent another set - same screws missing. We returned it, Wood flimsy, not sturdy for patio and not all the material to put it together

Husband complaining the whole time!

My husband is putting this together as I write and complaining BIG TIME, he really complained when I told him how much I paid for it! It is going in one of our guest bedrooms so it won't have a lot of wear and tear happening. It does look great but is VERY cheaply made and so not worth 170.00!

looks nice, but not sturdy

This bench looks just as nice as pictured, but the wood is extremely soft and light. which made it easy to put together for one person. Although the screws that came did not match what the directions said was included. Nonetheless, it was still fairly easy, and it will be light enough to handle when I put it up for the Winter. I don't think it could stand the abuse of being outside all the time, and I don't think I would plan on putting anything very heavy on it.

I like the style

The style is the same as in the book, but the wood is much rawer than what the picture looks like in the book. It seems to have been painted or a wash put on it.
