  1. I have just moved into my own home and would love to have a reading nook in a recently finished basement in my house. I love to read and a quiet cozy space my version of a woman cave

  2. Hello!
I would like to purchase the dark red colored cabinet pictured in the above kitchen photograph . It has screen covered windows instead of glass.
I have searched and searched on the website and cannot seem to find it!

Please help direct me to the proper contact so I can place my order.

    Thank you!

    1. Hi Lessie,

  4. I would like inspiration and lots of it and some ideas to make me feel more upbeat because I was diagnosed with a serious back condition where I had surgery and now I have had to accept that I am going to be spending a lot of time in bed, maybe for the rest of my life and I want to decorate my room, where I spend a lot of my time these days and maybe for a long time unless I can find a cure and our finances get better but how can I make my room look brighter and cheerier. Any ideas would help. I have little to work with but I’m thinking about lights and greenery, etc. I was thinking about stringing small strings of white lights up everywhere in the room so that it will somehow take away the darkness that I’m feeling inside. Thanks for any suggestions.

    1. Hi Amy,
So sorry to hear about your back condition – You’re in our thoughts! Great idea on wanting to brighten up your bedroom. To start, we suggest incorporating a cheery, warm color on your wall to make the room feel more cozy. If you’re worried about space, you can incorporate some taller furniture pieces to give the illusion of height and draw the eye upwards. Introducing some greenery and plants can also make a room feel fresher and add pops of color. We love the idea of stringing up lights. We’ve seen some neat ideas on Pinterest where people have created faux headboards by hanging small strands of lights on the wall where their bed is placed. The addition of accessories like rugs, lamps, wall art pieces, and other decor (think piles of pillows!) do a wonderful job of brightening up a room as well – We hope this helps and wish you well!

  5. I am looking for any ideas that anyone can give me to make my bedroom look more cheerful and bright. I was diagnosed with a back condition that is not going to get better and I spend a lot of time in my bed. I feel dark inside and I want my room to somehow help me to feel better my looking at pretty things. I was thinking about stringing white lights around the room and maybe greenery. Any other ideas would be more helpful. Our finances are not that good, so I guess any ideas that would be less expensive would be great. I just want the place that I am going to spend a lot of time to be the place that looks cheerful and happy. Anything anyone could suggest, I would most appreciate. I also wanted to say that Country Door has the best customer service in the world. I would buy everything they have if I had the money. Their products are the most beautiful things I have ever seen. They have just done me a kind deed and I would shop with them forever. Please pass the word along. I have bought some of their products and they are wonderfully made and beautiful and the company is wonderful! I thank them from the bottom of my heart.

    1. So happy to have you as a customer, Amy! Hang in there – You’re in our thoughts.
