Right away, our testers noted the incredible value of this cookware set, especially for stainless steel with encapsulated bottoms. They remarked that it had the look and feel of a much more expensive set. The weight was a big plus as well; the pots and pans felt substantial without being overly heavy, and the pots were sturdy and very stylish. When it came to use, our testers were huge fans of the nonstick interior, appreciating how food could just be rinsed away without any elbow grease involved. They also raved about the vented lids allowing for steam release, the partial glass on the lids, the handles that didn't get hot, and the tall height of the pans that allowed for more room on the cooktop. Finally, cooking food itself went smoothly, with food like fried rice and vegetables cooked evenly and thoroughly. (Get the recipe on the Ginny's Blog!) Testers liked how the stainless steel heated up so quickly, cutting down on cooking time.
