Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome barn door cabinet! The instructions were easy to follow which made completing less time consuming. The material is of higher grade then I thought! It has a good weight to it. I just ordered another one for my other bathroom! Thanks

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice piece, just not color shown Took about 2 1/2 hrs to put together by an experienced carpenter of 32 years.. someone that has just built our front porch steps and railing...not a novice. Color was not as shown. I ordered the natural and it was more whitewashed gray. I have oak walls in a log home. Anchoring the back of unit to the wall is flimsy. ..needs to be screwed to stud in wall. I would have sent it back, except our carpenter had it put together before I realized the error. I'm just going to paint it the color I want.

Question & Answer

I thought I had seen more pieces to go with the barn door furniture for the bathroom

Asked by: Sparkle 63
Not sure about other available furniture components, however, what you see in the picture of the toilet topper is complete having purchased and assembled it.

It's 12" deep? Don't you hit the back of your head when you're sitting on the toilet?

Asked by: crossfitmama
Depends on your toilet install. ours the tank is very close to the wall and yes this sticks out and you must shimmy to the front of the toilet and not sit up straight or your upper back hist the shelves. it is in fact too wide for most toilet installs I am familiar with. An 8 inch or less would be much much better. There is also no carve out for base boards in the legs as is typical so this just it out more, and if you have shoe even further.

Does this cabinet have to be attached to a wall behind the toilet? We live in a mobile home, and the walls are not very thick, there are not studs, I believe the walls are a particle board. Just want to make sure before I purchase this. Thank you.

Asked by: Mary
Actually yes it does at the top via provided hardware and zip ties. It is tall and narrow and has a potential to fall if you do not secure the top just like dressers etc.

it it 1 or 2 doors? meaning will one side always be open so people can see in?

Asked by: sandy
It is one door that slides. One side is open at all times.

What is the height of the bottom section?

Asked by: Kira
The bottom section is approx. 36" tall from the floor to the underside of the bottom shelf. However you may lose 2 1/2 inches at the top because of the design (there is a front piece that covers the top 2 1/2 inches of that section).
