Rustic, County Style Cabinet
I received my cabinet yesterday, which arrived in one piece, and was packed well. It is of a rustic quality, but solidly made of real wood, which makes it lighter than all pressed particle-board, so I liked that about it. It looks to have a light wood stain on it, as you can see the wood grain through it (though the description says painted). No varnish over the stain though, so it is a dull finish. So, it lends itself to being painted over, with a solid paint color, if you like, which I may do, like in a cream or light sage paint to match my decor. So, it lends itself to creative possibilities, in other words. An outstanding feature of the cabinet is the roomy interior of both the drawer and the bottom cabinet area, which are impressive for this smaller size cabinet, I would give it 5 stars for that. The one drawback is that there is no shelf in the lower cabinet area, yet there are wood braces along the interior sides to set a shelf on. I will purchase a piece of wood to set on there for a shelf, in order to utilize the interior space more fully. The price paid for this wooden cabinet was reasonable, as it was on sale, so no complaints there.

Very Cheap
Bought this cabinet and it did come put together, but when I started checking it out
the drawer was made upside down I would have to stand on my head to read it This is the second cabinet I have purchased from Country Door, first one the whole side was broke They replaced it but just once I would like to receive an item in perfect condition and made correctly

I noticed the description says “drawer front.” Does that mean it is a fake drawer or does it really open? And is there a shelf inside the cabinet part?

The Farm Life Cabinet drawer is 13.5" in Length by 11.25" in Width and 6.25" height. The cabinet section does not have a shelf and is 16.5" in Length by 12" Width and 20.5" in Height. We hope this is helpful.

Does the bottom compartment of the farm life cabinet have a shelf behind the door. If there is a shelf, is it adjustable? How deep is the top drawer?
