The shams are a separate purchase. The description of the quilt is misleading when is says quilt and sham. The price is for the quilt only with the shams a little farther down the description page. Shams are $24.99ea.

Is the red a Xmas red? Also can this quilt be used all year instead of at Xmas?
No it is not a Christmas red. Mine is more of a burgundy. I use it on my bed in the fall and winter months, not just for Christmas.
