Functional and exceptional beauty.
I bought these for my kitchen to reduce my electric bills since that room is used the most.I also purchased batter rechargeable bulbs that can also be used in a conventional lamp.The bulbs are as bright as a 100 watt bulb.The part of.yele trick bill is no more.I bought enough if the bulbs since they also hang for the other rooms.Thankyou Country Door you solved.a problem

If one wants this item for a bright lit room, it definitely doesn't work. They've more of an ambience type of light.

Disappointing
Even though it is shown in the catalog as a hanging light, it is not really made for that. We knew the chain didn't come with it thanks to another review, but we were sorry to see there wasn't any way to keep a chain in place after purchasing a chain. The lighting is extremely low light and we are trying to find out if we can use higher voltage LED bulbs.

I am so happy I made this purchase....as a matter of fact I went back and bought another and I have them on my fireplace along with 3 Luminara candles and when they are lit up all together....they look so beautiful.....thank you Country Door!!!

Love the design.

The switch does not work, the wiring is not hooked up to it, the light works but the switch does not.

Can you use a higher lumis bulb? I know it says below you can't take the bulb out, but ours came out easily. The light they give off is extremely minimal.

where is the on/off switch? If it is hanging, it has to be accessible from the bottom to be able to turn it on/off.
