Quality was less than I expected for the price. While assembly should have been easy, it was made more difficult because parts did not align easily. Decorative welds on legs are sloppy. Seat is not one solid piece of wood, but is pieced together with grooves between pieces. Seat edges are rough and will have to be sanded - and then stained and varnished. Will keep stools and make do --- easier than taking them apart, packing them up and shipping them back.
