Not remote controlled ? For the money should be.
Bought it for my living room looks great, the instructions are not very good and the fireplace has no operating instructions. Heat blows from the bottom and gets a bit hot.should be on top.

Defective material
I just received my unit. While assembling it, I came across a panel that was missing 3 inserts which pins screw into. These inserts are critical to assembly. There is no information in which I can contact anyone. I am not sending back the unit. There is no return label and it is large and heavy. I really expected better quality from such a pricey unit. I will have to go to local home center to find something suitable.

Errors in screw holes
Everything was fine until I tried to attach the glass door. The 4 screw hole for the inside attachment of hinges were 1/2 inch too high. But I used a drill to add 4 holes in the correct spot and now it is secure. Just thought I would let you know that someone made an error in measurements. Also, there were no holes provided for oine side of the shelf brackets. Other wise, I am very satisfied with the product.
