ITS LIKE STEPPING ON PEBBLES
While the outside is soft and thick, as soon as you step on it, there's a weird 'pricky' feeling. I have no idea what's INSIDE of this mat, but i don't like it at all. I've never come across a bath mat like this. What a disappointment for the money spent.

Pretty good quality
It doesn't seem to be a cheap piece of junk. Firstly, it came in a flat box-it wasn't rolled or folded. You can actually hold it on one end and it will stick straight out like a diving board-no wilting. The comfort is good too. I don't feel the backing coming up through the nap much. And its lightweight with good absorption. The color is nice, like in the photo. To me, it's worth the price.
