Needs Inside Coating
I loved the look of this kettle but was quite surprised to discover the inside was rusted. The kettle should be able to keep water from day to day without rusting. If not there should have been a warning to dump water and dry after each use.

Disappointed
This was a gift for family member who has been looking for a kettle in a copper color for the longest. When it finally arrived it had a darker color more like a light brown) than what is in the picture. Also didn't have the same shiny finish. Family member seemed happy with the attempt to match her copper pot set, but the color is clearly very different.Except for the color everything else seems to work fine. I will follow up if the color changes with use.

How do you open up the spout? Do I have to handle it? I don't see any other way from the photo.

The opening for the water spout for the Mr. Coffee Swirl Teapot opens easily when in the pouring position. No need to handle it, the spout will open as you tip to pour the water into your cup.
