I do like the shade, the way it looks, the nice heavy material and design is great. However the "ties" are sewn right to the shade so you can not tie up the shade past a couple inches! The tie part of the shade that is loose for tying is only 6 inches. The whole black/white part is attached to the shade. I was under the impression this could be rolled and tied up and down more than the bottom few inches. The shade had about another 12 inches past where the ties stop. This would have been so nice had the ties not been sewn to the shade.
