How to Dry Flowers

How to Air Dry Flowers

There are a lot of ways to use and decorate with dried flowers. Here are two simple ways to dry flowers for your handmade arrangements and home decor:

  1. For blooms that lay flat, like pansies or daisies, simply lay them on an old window screen and place it outside in dry, sunny weather. Cover with another screen to keep them from blowing away.
  2. For 3-dimensional flowers, tie with string and hang them upside-down in a dark, dry area with good circulation.
