The weekend is almost here. I’m Robin with Front Door Friday.
There’s no decorating trend more popular than Farmhouse. I grew up on a farm and still live on a farm, so I know a thing or two about making Christmas rustic, cozy, and beautiful. So grab a flannel shirt and let’s get started. I’m dreaming about farmhouse Christmas. Are you?
Break out the buffalo check and the galvanized metal. This Christmas door is a rustic gem. Try layering rugs and mats. A large area rug will anchor your porch like a room. Command hooks are affordable, available, and great for hanging temporary decorations. Make sure to wait an hour before hanging anything on them to give the adhesive a chance to gel.
Put a Christmas tree on your porch. Why not? Decorate it to match your theme. Real and artificial trees come in all shapes and sizes. Some pieces like this galvanized bucket planter might be a bigger investment. But you’ll be able to use it over and over as the seasons change. It’s worth the extra money.
What’s a front porch without a rocker? Just add a throw pillow for a little extra festive fun. That’s it for this week’s Front Door Friday. I encourage you to step out and try some front door decorating this weekend. To learn more, check out the Country Door blog, and I’ll see you next Friday. Happy decorating and God bless.
