There are endless possibilities to include green in your home décor. Green’s complexity has a natural appeal that spans a variety of moods and personalities. Whether verdant and tropical or tranquil and calming, greens can create a restorative, restful atmosphere in any room.

Canopy Bed Accents

Make your canopy bed a vision of romance with soft voile. Most local fabric stores carry this kind of light, blousy fabric. You’ll need about 20 yards. Hang it in loose swags around the posts and canopy of the bed, letting the ends drape to the floor. Hem the edges to keep them from unraveling.

For centuries, flowers have added a special touch to table settings. Take it one step further — Victorian-style. Tuck a sprig of baby’s breath or a small carnation into each napkin ring and place a small bouquet above each plate. In the blank spaces of the table, scatter a few more flowers.
