How to Make Your Own Lemon Sugar Body Scrub
Homemade Lemon Sugar Body Scrub Recipe
Whether you make your own sugar bath scrub to treat yourself with a bit of luxury or you make it to give as gifts for your friends, this easy-to-follow homemade body scrub recipe will be a welcome gift of exfoliation and aromatherapy that everyone will enjoy!
- ½ cup organic coconut oil
- 1 ½ – 2 ½ cups organic sugar
- 2-3 Tbsp. lemon zest
- 8-10 drops lemon essential oil
Just Three Easy Steps
Step One: In a glass bowl, melt coconut oil in the microwave for 30 seconds or until it becomes liquid.
Step Two: Mix lemon essential oil and lemon zest with the melted coconut oil.
Step Three: Add in sugar and mix well until combined. When making sugar scrub, we recommend starting with 1 ½ cups of sugar and adding ½ cup until you reach the consistency you enjoy the best. If you prefer a coarser scrub with not as much oil, use the full 2 ½ cups of sugar.
Fill glass containers, like mason jars or decorative glass bottles, with the scrub and tie a decorative ribbon around the rim. Create your own personal label and give as gifts for any occasion. Better yet, give them away for no special reason at all, except to make someone’s day a little brighter!

I live in a apartment building and when you come front door we have a area that has a mirror and under that is a bench with a window framr and window box I would like a idea on how to decorate it for fall alot of people see it when they come in

For fall you can add a touch of the season with natural elements like pinecones and seedpods in a wood bowl. Flank the bench with oversized planters filled with bright, beautiful mums. Nestle a few multi-sized pumpkins and gourds next to planters.
