The holidays are over. I’m ready to get cozy and enjoy winter’s calm. So snuggle up and join me for a beautiful wintery front door update.

Shop in your own home. It makes decorating affordable. Fabric softens and warms an environment. Add a blanket over the rocking chair. Use burlap or old blankets to surround planters and arrangements.

Take Christmas out but leave the rest. You can continue to use a lot of holiday decor throughout winter.

Recycle the Christmas tree before kicking it to the curb. Cut branches off the tree to create new arrangements around your front door. How about skis for a unique front door decor?

That’s it for this week’s Front Door Friday. I encourage you to step out and try some front door decorating this weekend. To learn more check out the Country Door blog and I’ll see you next Friday. Happy decorating and God bless.
