Fall Front Door Decorating [Video]
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
The weekendās almost here. Iām Robin with Front Door Friday. Fall is here. Schoolās back. You probably have a million things to do.
Who has time to decorate? Believe it or not, you do. We are going to decorate a door to celebrate the season. Use a wreath to create a central focus for your door.
Using large objects, like this straw bale, gives you depth and a platform for decorations, remember, placing larger objects on the hinge side of the door to avoid blocking the entrance.
Garland is beautiful along the railing. Zip ties can hold it in place. Donāt get too carried away. Keep the rail clear enough for people to use. Hereās a designer tip. Think symmetrical. Weāre going to be using a shape to lay out the decor.
Iām using a triangle for this door because itās centered and in a small space. Thatās it for this weekās Front Door Friday. I encourage you to step out and try front door decorating this weekend.
To learn more, check out the Country Door Blog. Iāll see you next Friday. Happy decorating and God bless.

I really love your decorating and you too! You have a warm inviting and relaxing personality. Would love having you as a neighbor! I’ve bought so many things from Country Door over the years and have loved everything. I especially love decorating my front porch, so you have inspired me to get going for the Fall. Thanks and God Bless You too!

Hello Cynthia,
New smaller spaces can pose challenges, what is most important is that you surround yourself with things that make you happy, small touches of country decor mixed with more modern apartment fixtures are very popular right now. They can really warm up colder spaces. Happy Decorating!
