Valentine’s Day Front Door Decorating [Video]

The weekend’s almost here. I’m Robin with Front Door Friday. Today, I’m playing Cupid with Valentine’s Day and this door. It’s a love match.

Valentine’s Day hugs and kisses for a door? Absolutely. This easy door hanger is versatile and affordable. Create or buy an oversized X and O. Hang on the door using a ribbon. Paint and glitter add that personal finish. Have a heart or maybe a bunch of hearts.

This wagon makes a lovely focal point. Use flower pots to create different heights. Cover with tulle, fill the wagon with hearts. There’s so many ways to go with this. You can create conversation hearts or classic valentine hearts with ribbons and lace.

Decorate front porch furniture. Pillows are always fun and inviting. You can easily personalize a store-bought pillow. Cut out a felt heart. Stitch onto the pillow, remove it later and replace it with another seasonal update.

Tulle is a relatively cheap decorating material. Use it around the door instead of garland.

Here’s a fun and quick way to create a bow. Save the plastic from a six-pack of colas. Pull tulle through each hole and fluff. It’s that simple.
