I like how you suggest to add just a few things to your area to have the right amount of elegance. My home needs a bit of a facelift, and I have always loved the vintage look. This sounds like an easy way to combine both, so I should find some vintage wall hangings to put around the house.

My mother has been considering doing a rustic themed makeover in parts of her house. I love what you said about mixing old with new and not doing a complete makeover. Like you said, it only takes a couple of small things to really change the room to a rustic feel. Thanks for the great blog.
